Tagging, Categories, & Organization

Now that the tagging function has been added to the site, we need to consider how best to use it to help organize the material and how best to encourage contributors and users to use it. (For starters, in our help-for-contributors documents, we should add tagging as a recommended step in the creation or editing of content.)

Also, do we gardeners need to "impose" our own "official" tags or categories on the content in order to create the sort of topical browsing pages that are common on other encyclopedic wikis?
