There are many research successes that emanate from BERD interactions. We provide key training on basic analytical techniques and use of statistical software (emphasis on JMP). The course evaluations routinely cite examples how these trainings will enable greater understanding of the statistical analysis process and an increased awareness of the need for rigor. Our consultation sessions are also impactful. Notably, we engage with the CTSA protocol development course to provide access to biostatisticians as protocols are being written (note: most students in the course are new investigators without their 'own' biostatistician).
